Lucky Fishing Hat? My ass!
When Blizzard released patch 2.4 for World of Warcraft one of the new things was the daily fishing quest. “Visit the mysterious old man fishing at Silmyr Lake outside of Shattrath City to discover what treasures he has to offer.” Depending of what he has to offer it could be either cool or boring as hell. I guessed for the last option, but I soon found out he could reward me with [item]33820[/item]! Wow, new fishing gear stuff to extend my set! Since I already had [item]19970[/item], [item]19969[/item] and [item]19979[/item] it would be so cool to have.
So I finished the quest every single day since. I go to Old Man Barlo, fly to wherever he sends me, get what he wants me to get and fly back to him to get my [item]34863[/item]. Then I start praying to the flying spaghetti monster for my item and… get disappointed every day so far.
Every day? Well not entirely! One small moment of happiness when I opened my treasure bag and I saw a blue item in it. THE blue item even! Just WHY Blizzard, WHY did I get it on my bad-skill-no-fishing-gear-whatsoever mage alt instead of my maxed-out-skill-superb-fishing-gear warlock?
And every single day I still try, but my [item]19972[/item] doesn’t give me any of its power so far… And there are more people not so happy with Blizzard.
